Azienda Agricola Borgo Savaian di Bastiani Stefano is a family owned and operated winery (for three generations!) in Cormons, a small region in Friuli. The estate covers 18 hectares alongside Mount Quarin, and the family focuses on sustainably farming indigenous varieties and is committed to a natural lifestyle of the vineyards that is in harmony with their surroundings.
“Aransat” is Friulian slang for “orange”, and the pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc grapes for this blend are spontaneously fermented on their skins in stainless steel tanks, with post-fermentation maceration on the skins lasting for around 90 days before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Sustainably grown, low-intervention/natural wine, vegan.
