Driven by fresh, tart, just barely ripe red berry fruit aromas.  Also, it's a tiny bit woodsey smelling. Fredi Torre's Pomagrana is a very light red that is juicy and thirst quenching!  

About the producer: Fredi Torres is a curious and tireless oenologist. After leaving his career as a DJ, he decided to recover his Iberian roots. His parents were dedicated to farming and fishing in Galicia, and after studying viticulture and wine making in Switzerland and going through the best wineries in Burgundy, Argentina, South Africa and Priorat, it was in this last region where his first project with his Swiss partners started in 2004. This project was called Saó del Coster.

It was in 2013, after leaving Saó del Coster, when he acquired his first vineyards in Priorat. At the same time, he began his collaboration with the brothers Carlos and Juan Rodríguez in Ribeira Sacra under the name of Sílice Viticultores. Currently Fredi Torres also works on different projects in the Montsant with Frenchman Antoine Touton, and in Conca de Barberá, with Marc Lecha. They form the tandem Lectores Vini, and they have made their first wine, Pomagrana.
